| The LRP range of Li-Po has only just been released into the UK market. The range of packs available is extensive and so there should be a battery to suit just about every application possible. As with any Li-Po power the user must take care and be aware of the batteries usage at all time. The LRP Li-Po regulator just helps to keep your pack from failing due to any excessive current draw or the voltage of the pack dropping to low. This is a must for use with any Li-Po receiver pack for gas cars, monster trucks, boats and aircraft. A two cell Li-Po will have a nominal rating of 7.4v, which is too high for some radio systems. This small unit will reduce the battery output voltage to a constant 6V level. This will help to hold a more constant voltage and so help eliminate any slight glitches of interference your radio system may incur when there is a battery voltage drop. The regulator also limits the current draw to a possible 5A. This protection helps prevent any damage occurring to the battery when there is a high stall current or malfunction within your system. |
