FIORONI OPTIONAL PARTS

  Fioroni are well known for high quality engineering and products. The latest items to be released are for the Jammin Hong Nor buggy and truggy.
The aluminium steering knuckles are a direct replacement for the originals but with the added bonus of more support for the axle bearings and a more direct steering feel due to less flex in the steering arm. The Fioroni shock towers are also direct replacements for the originals; they have been finished in black and machined after anodising to give that nice silver edged look. Made from 5mm aluminium and machined for that perfect fit. The CRT main chassis is made from high quality aluminium and anodised for a smart neat clean look and machined for the ultimate strength to weight ratio possible. Not only have Fioroni made replacement alloy parts but also upgrades. There is now available a toe-in set so you can adjust rear toe-in and with the addition of the 1 degree hubs you can move some of the toe-in to an outboard position.

  3.5CC 8 PORT BUGGY ENGINE
  The NS421B motor range has been one of the most popular engines in the world of buggy racing and is renown for having great power and top speed. Available with a standard plug and a turbo plug for the maximum power possible, you really can own a monster of a motor. Eight bolts hold the cylinder head on and they are fitted with a squashed “o” ring to absorb any vibrations and to support the combustion chamber as much as possible. A 25.8mm rear bearing provides adequate crank support and Novarossi fit the extra strong connection rod for increased reliability and strength. The exhaust output is so large the liner has been modified so the piston can never twist or tilt in the sleeve causing undue wear or snagging. An extra hole in the side of the piston also helps reduce the weight with the added bonus of keeping the piston nice and cool.
Due to the nature of this engine, finding the ultimate tune set-up may not be the easiest of things to do, so the design engineers at Novarossi have taken care to shape the needles to purposely match the engines performance requirements. A plastic carburettor body has also been used to ensure all the fuel enters the engine and none is atomised before reaching the combustion chamber to achieve the maximum performance and economy.
