With the growing number of entry level 1/8th scale RTRs on the market there is always a need for replacement 3.5CC pull start engine. This LRP pullstart engine has been built for reliability along with ease of use and tuning. Using all the latest material technology found in the race engines for added bearing support and heat distribution throughout the crankcase and cooling head. With the standard two-needle style carburettor once you have found a good fuel mixture setting the engine should need little or no adjustment. This entry-level engine has three inlet ports and an ABC design is used for the piston and linear. Fitted with an LRP No5 plug for running the engine in there is nothing else you need to replace your worn out RTR engine with this LRP Z.21 spec 2 pullstart.

Up until now LRP have supplied us with additive for both rubber and foam tyres. This new additive has been designed and tested to get the most out of rubber tyres on carpet and so improve lap times and speed. The chemical make up of the original “Top Traction” has always been suitable for use with both foam and rubber tyres. This has meant that the softening chemical quantities have been reduced to cater for the foam tyre. The percentages in this new version on Top Grip are designed to optimise the traction available from the rubber tyre.
Supplied in the same bottle with an easy foam applicator for no spills and a screw fixing cap.

VTEC DUNLOP D20 WET TYRES
When racing Touring cars in the wet we are always searching for as much traction as possible and LRP VTEC have come up with their own pre-glued combination. This Dunlop D20 wet tyre is mounted on a Vtec wheel with its own specific insert. The insert allows a small air gap between the tyre and insert to increase the tyre temperature as quickly as possible and also to hold the temperature during the run at a constant level.
