practice hot lap Mark Newham had not seen Brian Preddy's car stationary on the grid; there could only be one outcome. Brian had a broken shock tower and it looked like he didn't have a car for the final. A big thank you to Dan Cockill for lending Brian his XX4 so he could run in the final.
Totally unfazed by all the goings on and rushing around Simon lead from start to finish, concluding the day with yet another thirteen laps; nearly a whole lap in front of second place.
The next 3 fought it out right from the start and for the entire five minutes, even on the last lap, positions were still changing. Alec just held on for second just in front of Richard Ralph and James Evans. |
