19 Turn
As is becoming the normal at Carpet Wars, Nathan Parker would set the early pace and continue to dominate in qualifying all the way through the day. He would end up making the twenty-first lap, the only driver in this class to do so showing the pace of this so called stock class. The main absentee at the start of the day at the top was Chris Kerswell who was struggling with keeping the car on all four wheels for the five minutes, but amazing final run would put him second on the grid. Fabien Simonini would round off the top three, showing good pace as always.

Leg 1
The start of this final was re-started after pole sitter Nathan Parker jumpstarted, obviously anxious to get away from Chris Kerswell in second! Nathan was sent to the back of the grid as a penalty, which he took with good grace. The race would see many different battles for third, but Mark Stiles and Fabien would hold a steady first and second respectively. The race for third was between Chris Kerswell, Nathan Parker, Christopher Delves and Rob Fox; each driver taking a turn to hold the last podium spot, but it would be Nathan Parker who started at the back of the grid that would be victorious out of this pack of drivers. |

Leg 2
No jumpstarts at the beginning of this final, but plenty of first corner incidents! Christopher Delves would lose out the most and be too far back by the time the marshals got to him to catch the rest of the field up. The race would end up being a walk in the park for Nathan, taking the victory by ten seconds from first leg winner Mark Stiles, with Chris Kerswell two seconds behind him. Second was all that Mark needed to take the overall victory and maintain the lead of the 19 turn championship. Ricky Copsey would be a none starter in the second leg after destroying his motor in the first round, but showed incredible pace and speed throughout the day! |
